Combi oven repair and service in Antalya
Fault diagnosis, repair, descaling and scheduled maintenance for combi ovens in hotel, restaurant, canteen and catering kitchens. We trace steam generator, heating element, fan motor, sensor and control board faults by measurement and repair them with genuine spare parts.

Common faults and symptoms
A combi oven is a cooking appliance that combines hot air (convection) with steam. Because the parts that make steam are in constant contact with water, limescale is one of the most common causes of combi oven faults.
- 01
No steam, or too little steam
Food dries out, steam programmes show an error or take far too long.
Possible causes- Limescale build-up in the steam generator
- Scaled-up or faulty water level sensor
- Blocked water inlet valve or water filter
- Burnt-out steam generator heating element
- 02
Not heating, or heating slowly
The oven does not reach the set temperature, preheating takes longer, cooking times change.
Possible causes- Faulty heating element or contactor
- Tripped high-limit safety thermostat
- Fan motor slowing down or stopping
- Temperature sensor fault
- 03
Uneven cooking
One side of the trays is overdone and the other underdone; browning is patchy.
Possible causes- Problem with the fan motor, fan wheel or air baffle
- Heat and steam escaping through the door gasket
- One of the heating elements out of action
- Overloading that blocks air circulation
- 04
Steam or water leaking from the door
Steam escapes around the door and water collects in front of the oven.
Possible causes- Worn or dislodged door gasket
- Play in the door adjustment and hinges
- Blocked drip channel under the door
- Drain line blocked by grease and scale
- 05
Error code on the display
The unit shows an error code and stops the programme, or will not run at all.
Possible causes- Faulty temperature sensor or core temperature probe
- Insufficient water supply or water pressure
- Fan motor or cooling fan fault
- Control board or wiring problem
- 06
Automatic cleaning does not finish
On models with a cleaning system the programme stops halfway or the cooking chamber is not clean afterwards.
Possible causes- Air or a blockage in the detergent or rinse-aid pump
- Cleaning arm not rotating
- Cleaning product not suitable for the unit
- Slow-draining waste outlet
What we check during a service visit
- Water inlet, water pressure and water filter
- Scale in the steam generator and the level sensors
- Resistance measurement of heating elements, contactors and safety thermostat
- Fan motor, bearings and fan wheel
- Temperature sensors and core temperature probe
- Door gasket, door adjustment and hinges
- Drain line, drip channel and the automatic cleaning system, if fitted
- Control board, error log and a test run
Every job ends with a written service report: symptom, diagnosis, work done and test result on one page.
Before you call us
These checks are safe to do and make it easier to describe the fault.
- Take a photo of the error code on the display and of the rating plate (brand, model, serial number).
- Check that the water valve supplying the oven is open.
- If the circuit breaker has tripped, reset it once; if it trips again, do not force it and keep the unit switched off.
- Note which programme the error appeared in and when.
Do not work on the electrical panel, the gas line or the refrigerant circuit yourself; switch the unit off and call us.
Maintenance tips
These are general recommendations; the instructions and values in your unit’s manual always take priority.
Every day
- At the end of the day, clean the cooking chamber with the automatic cleaning programme or the product recommended by the manufacturer.
- Wipe the door gasket with a soft cloth; do not use abrasive pads or sharp tools.
- Leave the door ajar overnight so the chamber dries and the gasket is not compressed.
- Remove food debris from the drain strainer.
Every week
- Check the door gasket for tears, hardening or coming out of its groove.
- Check the core temperature probe cable for crushing and breaks.
- If there is a water filter or softener, check its warning indicator.
- Make sure the ventilation openings behind and under the oven are not blocked.
At scheduled maintenance (technical service)
- Descaling of the steam generator (how often depends on your water hardness)
- Replacement of the water filter or softener cartridge
- Measurement of heating elements, sensors, fan motor and safety devices
- Check of door adjustment, gasket and temperature calibration
Frequently asked questions
Why does a combi oven stop producing steam?
One of the most common causes is limescale building up in the steam generator and on the level sensor. A closed water valve, a blocked water filter, or a faulty water inlet valve or steam generator heating element can also stop steam production. If the water valve is open and the problem continues, the unit needs to be checked with measurements.
How often should a combi oven be descaled?
It depends on the hardness of your water and how much the oven works with steam. In a kitchen with hard water that uses steam cooking every day, scale builds up much faster. If your unit has an automatic descaling programme, run it at the interval the manufacturer recommends; a water filter or softener extends that interval. We can set the right schedule for your kitchen together, based on your water hardness.
There is an error code on the display. What should I do?
Take a photo of the error code and the rating plate and send it to us on WhatsApp. The code often shows which part of the unit the fault is in and makes a first assessment easier. Do not keep switching the unit off and on to get past the error; with overheating and water errors in particular, this can make the fault worse.
